Landmark Arts Centre, Midsummer Art Fair, featuring Hannah Tucker

Recently I received the news that my work had been accepted into the Midsummer Art Fair at the Landmark Arts Centre. I was then told that one of my prints "Flower Bird" had been chosen to advertise the fair. FANTASTIC! Look out for the credit at the side of the image when your glancing through the arty mags!

The Asylum and The Wing Assignment.

Panoramic 360 camera view

A print of mine was shown at the Asylum Gallery in Peckham. The show was a collaboration  between the Wing Assignment and the Asylum Gallery. This show was to present examples of past work and to launch the new assignment. The work was displayed in a beautiful semi-derelict 19th Century Chapel.

Traditional Chinese Scissors.

Traditional Chinese Scissors.
Today I had the pleasure of being given a pair of traditional Chinese scissors. These scissors have evolved from the Tang dynasty, in the 7th to 9th Century. Interestingly enough there were many notable innovations during the Tang, including the development of woodblock printing. I've been using these scissors today to help cut my way through collages and 'made' images. An added bonus is that they are great for those who are left handed!
